The statue of the Madonna of the Alpine Troops is a monument erected by the alpine troops department of Villeneuve in 1970.

It was created according to the contemporary art canons, depicting Virgin Mary holding a young alpine trooper.

The statue, placed upon a high basement, overlooks the village of Villeneuve.
